Can I work as part-time student during the interim break?

There is no legal limitation to work as part-time student.

I am a graduate student and I have thesis/dissertation defense. What should I do?

Graduate students should contact their advisors and jury members to coordinate their defense.

Can I do an internship during the interim break?

Based on YÖK (Higher Education Council) regulations, any form of internship is suspended during the interim break.

How is the summer school will be affected?

I am not going to stay at the dorm during the interim break. Will I be charged?

Per University Executive Board decision, students who will not stay at the dorms during the interim break will not pay for the duration they do not stay. However, fees will charged unless students notify dorm masters that they will not be staying.
